Bridal Portrait Session

Their are many options when it comes to bridal portraits. Before your session I always talk with the bride to see what style and setting she wants to be photographed in {indoor, outdoor, nature setting, urban, etc}

Typically a bridal portrait session lasts about 1-2 hours. Any longer than 2 hours people tend to get tired which shows in the images. All my sessions are designed to be fun, creative, and relaxing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’m running behind or have to cancel?
Please be prepare and allocate enough time in getting ready / hair / makeup. We don’t want to cut back on the amount of time we have to photograph. I understand you might have a conflict after we have scheduled your session. I allow one schedule change (non-weather related). You will have to pay an additional fee for multiple cancellations or no-shows. Please choose your session day carefully.

When do I pay the session fee?
Session fees are due at the time you schedule your session date/time.

What is included in the session fee?
Standard sessions for bridals and engagements include the creative fee (photography time), and editing (enhancing) of the images. I also provide all the high reslotuon images to you via drop box or CD with print right release. This allows you to print any size image at your favorite photo lab and social media sites.

I also offer a session only fee with no digital images. The fee is $150 and you will have an online gallery to order prints from. Most people choose the standard session because it gives your full rights and all the digital images taken.

Can friends or relatives attend the session?
Yes, I encourage you to bring people to the session but is not mandatory. I would suggest however to limit the number of guests. We have a limited time of photographing and don’t want too many distraction.

Should I use silk or fresh flowers?
When looking at pictures it is sometimes hard to tell between reel and silk flowers. It is completely up to your and your florist but is not required to have fresh flowers for your session.

I don’t know any poses or what to do?
No problem, all you have to do is show up to the location ready and I will take care of the rest. I have been photographing bridal portraits for the past 14 years and have quite a few poses to position you in and will direct you the whole way.

I love a picture I found online. Can you photograph it exactly like it is?
I encourage you to browse online and to submit any creative examples to me before your session. However, due to many complexities (lighting, setting, etc) it is sometimes difficult to replicate images. Submitting sample images does help in giving me a direction on what creative images you want to take.

Do you offer prints or any products?
Yes, you can find information and prices on the prints, wall portraits, and products that I offer on the products page
